Beer garden in Tübingen on the edge of the old town. Generous area with chestnut trees and pebbled ground. The way a beer garden should be. Nice view of the Neckar and the punting boats passing by. Very bright rooms inside too. You practically sit in the brewhouse. Food is okay there. Has always been served friendly so far. Parking spaces are in short supply, but that's because of the city center location. Well worth the visit.

Very nice place, staff is great, the food very tasty and down to earth. But would definitely reserve in advance!

Wow - very good inn. The beers are very tasty, my favorite is the light wheat beer. Also the food very recommendable very good menu and daily specials. But the absolute highlight is the implementation of the Corona rules - even with a serving table. Keep it up - even if the government has decided on a new lockdown, stay strong. We have a heart for restaurateurs !!

Since I have already visited Tübingen several times, I also went to Neckar-Müller again, sitting comfortably on the Neckar again and this time treated myself to a delicious Swabian sausage salad. Even in spite of the usual Corona rules, the service was very careful and had everything under control. I like to travel here from time to time and highly recommend it .......

Reheated food, extremely heavy and of poor quality. Everything with a lot of fat, bacon and without fresh herbs. The salad is never freshly prepared. Neckarmüller was sometimes better but now you can get canteen food, that's too expensive for that ...

Pleasant impressions from the past 2019. After visiting the Hohenzollern castle, we stopped in Tübingen. The "Gasthausbrauerei Neckarmüller" restaurant is located in the heart of the city on the banks of the Neckar River. It offers a beautiful view of the river and the central bridge. The restaurant is a bit noisy, but that didn’t stop you from enjoying a delicious lunch and German beer. Thanks to the waitress, it turned out that the restaurant has a menu in Russian - you can see it in the photo.

We felt very comfortable. The beer tasting and the food was delicious. The service was nice and attentive.

Very friendly and attentive service. Also thought it was good that the waitress consistently paid attention to compliance with Corona rules. Other than that, the food was very good too.

Rating refers to the beer garden. Really very nice location right on the Nackar. Staff also very friendly and beer also very good. The food is nothing special for the price. For 6.50 euros there was probably two sausages with rolls and mustard in the special offer. The sausages really didn't taste good. My friend's sausage salad was better, but also very badly seasoned. 1 star for the location 1 star for the staff 1 star for the beer At least nothing special in the beer garden ... unfortunately. I went to the restaurant a long time ago and the food and selection was much better there. Therefore 1 star for this.

The location is great. The service in the restaurant area is better than my past experience in the beer garden area. The food was good, but nothing if you were really hungry. All in all ok.

Location nis very much ok! But, as a guest, to be stressed with Corona face masks, mandatory registration, and they only accept cash... Not ok and no logic. The Weiss beer didn't have a good taste either. Hope it improves.

Service table was great again. And the elderberry cellar beer. Delicious. The service: great, we were informed directly about the service process due to Corona. And after a short time the food was at the service table, where we brought it to the table ourselves. Very simple and structured process. We will be back. Many thanks

Quite okay - lives from the situation. Get a place even without a reservation. Service friendly. Corona rules adhered to, you have to get drinks and food yourself from the serving table (does that really make a difference?) The price for the Neckarmüller salad is too high and there has not even been any raw vegetables (carrot salad, coleslaw or potato salad - nothing included). Only lettuce, chicken, cucumber, tomato - and this just enough to fill you up, only half a slice of bread with it.

Eaten super delicious! Above all, I was very relaxed because Neckarmüller has a special card for allergy sufferers. So I was able to order properly! It was a great time and the service was really great. Even a really violent thunderstorm on the terrace (it was covered, but we sat on the edge) was not a problem - we were allowed to change tables and that, although this is associated with additional effort in Corona times. Thank you! Lovely again!

System catering that still manages to maintain a quality level of "in order". I think prices are a bit too expensive, especially for the beer. The lunch menu is highly recommended, as it is really impressive in terms of taste and price. In summer you can sit comfortably in the beer garden. However, there is only collection here.

We couldn't really feel comfortable because we were attacked by small flies and mosquitoes that streamed in through the glass door. Unfortunately, the employees could not close the door as it would have become too "stuffy" which is why we had to share our food with the flies. Too bad! The food was good and it was quickly at the table.

Perfect View, Kind Waiters But we have to wait for a long time to pay. Even though the staffs contacted eyes with us twice, but he never came for 15 minutes. After we went out to pay, we have to wait for extra 10 minutes more, because he handles servings and taking order. It was so unpleasant experience. However it is extraordinary good for someone who loves to see nice view.

Sensational location, friendly staff, very good beer - what's not to like?

Wonderful service and food. There is public parking across the river only a 5 minute walk. Book on-line and ask for a table by the window. My wife and I spent 2 hours enjoying lunch and drinks. We will be back soon.

went here with friends summer of '18 and had a wonderful time and meal. Was looking it up more than a year later because it was so nice & will be back when we visit Germany again

Since a waiter in bald hair and with glasses was very rude and impolite to both me and my guest, it was like mentally pressured and felt seriously unforgivable! He threw our changes into table away during check out.. So, wouldn't be there in rest of my life. Go back to elementary school to learn basic manners. Dear Neckarmueller, I really would like to file a formal complaint concerning such behavior of one of your staff. Sincerly

Very average, customer service was horrendous to say least. Hadi should lose his job as his turkish heritage doesn’t go well with Western culture. Wouldn’t come back just because of Hadi!

We ordered turkey steak which was served with salad and creamy potatoes. All were amazing. The staff were nice and the location was good (city centre, beside the river).

Nice place

Cozy place with many food and drink options. Among the best bear breweries of the city. In summer they open up their bear garden at the side of Neckar that is a must see place in Tübingen while there. The food and non-bear drinks we had here were nothing special. Staff while being friendly were very busy and you might feel under pressure while talking to them. Unfortunately twice they made mistakes in our order and didnt offer to fix it.

The food is ok but the place is full of wasps and it's really stressful to eat like that. Moreover 2 wasps fall inside our glass of beer and the service refused to change it.

Nice view. Food is ok. The place can become pretty crowded during summer time which affects service level. If you are in for the gourmet experience, don’t go there. When you have enough time and are looking for an easy lunch, it might be an option.

Best place in Tübingen for a true Biergarten experience! Great Schwäbisch food and absolutely delicious beer. Plus when it is warm outside you can enjoy the wonderful views of the Rhine. One of my favorite places in Tübingen!

A local took me here when I asked for the best of local food and I was not disappointed. Good, hearty meals, great beer, nice service and a nice view

The place itself is very nice and comfy. The staff, however, was unfriendly and incompetent. The service made a mistake and brought a dish twice. Since the portions were quite small (3 Maultaschen) we assumed it was a split portion, since my wife asked for an extra plate. After that we had two angry waiters, who did not apologize for bringing too much food but blaming us for not telling that there was a dish too much. We had to pay the dish twice. My conclusions: Nice place, small portions ( the vegetarian option) and unfriendly service.

Nice place, a great location ... the food is great. But the service can be improved ... the waiters are not always attentive, sometimes harsh ... a little more friendliness could be shown. Otherwise, we can recommend the restaurant. We like to come back here.

Great place to try German food and drink beer. You can enjoy an amazing view during the summer. The service is fast.

Got there and grabbed a seat for four but borrowed a chair as we were five. The host then came over and very rudely confronted us, almost shouting and offering no alternatives. Fair enough we were blocking a path but we only needed to be told once and fully understood. Service in general was ok, slow as they were busy. When my food arrived, I found a hair in my meal which was a real shame. Accidents happen however, and the food was quite nice. The place in general was nice but massively let down by the main host server whose name we didn't catch.
